What makes this amendment all the more shameful is that the people who drafted it likely didn't care that much if it passed or not. I believe it was mostly a political tool to keep economically disadvantaged, socially conservative voters distracted from how the right invariably screws them over on issues of economic fairness, labor, healthcare, education etc. They are betting it will pay off for them in "real" elections in November and beyond. It's really just the American oligarchy's way of keeping oblivious minions in line.

Nice work guys! I think the salmon and cream cheese sushi is called a Philadelphia roll? At least it is at my favourite sushi place.

Ironically, I was just about to post sushi photos - but not as cool as yours because I didn't actually make it.

My comments on that topic were primarily sarcastic and I can't confirm actually seeing anything to that effect last year. However, it was pretty clear that there were many in attendance who could have easily been (and may well have been) taken advantage of. I did see the pile of pills/powders and what have you when I went through the security checkpoint and it was easy for anyone to jump to that same conclusion, real or imagined.

That event was likely a one-off for me anyway - the main thing that kept me from going back this year was the atrocious MC's; also, I wasn't about to shell out big money just to see Mux Mool, Flux Pavilion and Feed Me.

Your suggestion that they could have resold the drugs and made more money is kind of ironic...cause they did. I saw it with my own eyes. Private security was shaking people down. They took cash and contraband from anyone that looked intoxicated and was alone. They tried to shake me down as well...but i had no drugs and told them it would be a fight to the death for my cash. Starscape security is a bunch of hired baltimore thugs. This went on last year as well. You may not believe it, but is the the truth. Many people i spoke with had run-ins with them. I am trying to get the word out, as this is not right. A young lady walking alone was fondled by security....and laughed at when she tried to report it. Just an FYI..

Totally would give you a standing ovation for "brownie points" if you indeed meant it as a pun.
